This recall only affects mild-hybrid variants of the E-Pace. When the DC-DC converter fails, the 12-volt battery stops charging and the vehicle displays a red "Stop Safely Electrical Fault Detected" warning. If driving continues after that point, the car can lose drive power entirely or its headlights and taillights can go dark, reducing visibility to other drivers.
