The 2023 Jeep Wagoneer has 7 recalls, the most serious involving safety equipment: loose B-pillar interior trim can block the side curtain airbag from deploying properly in a crash, and a faulty clockspring can prevent the driver's frontal airbag from deploying at all.
Third-row seat belt buckles on some vehicles are difficult to access or fasten, leaving rear occupants unrestrained in a crash. The rearview camera can also fail to display when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing the driver's ability to see what is behind the vehicle while backing up; prior repair attempts did not fully resolve this issue, and two separate software-related filings address it. On the exterior, door trim on the driver and passenger sides can detach while driving, as can the quarter-window trim along the sides of the vehicle, both of which can become road hazards for other drivers.
