The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer has 11 recalls, the most serious involving multiple occupant protection failures: airbag control software that can silently disable the driver, passenger, and knee airbags, side curtain airbags that may not deploy correctly due to improperly seated B-pillar trim, and rear seat belt buckles that occupants may be unable to fasten.
A separate concern involves the second-row center seat, where the recliner pull strap can bind against the seat trim and prevent the seatback from locking upright, leaving that passenger without proper support in a crash. Three recalls cover rearview camera failures caused by software in the radio or park assist module that can prevent the backup image from displaying when the vehicle shifts into reverse. On the exterior, door and window trim pieces on both the front and rear of the vehicle may not have been properly secured and can detach while driving, creating a road hazard for other vehicles.
