The 2008 Land Rover Range Rover has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the front passenger airbag inflator, which can rupture and send metal fragments into the cabin, posing a risk of serious injury or death.
The airbag inflator issue applies to vehicles originally sold or registered in high-humidity regions including several southern U.S. states, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and certain U.S. territories. There is also a brake concern: one or both flexible front brake hoses can rupture and leak brake fluid, extending the stopping distance and raising the risk of a crash.
