Lexus Lx570 Recalls

The Lexus LX570 has 5 recalls spanning 2008 through 2019, with the most serious being a fuel pump defect on 2018-2019 models where the pump can fail while driving, stalling the engine and raising the risk of a crash.

The 2018-2019 model years are also covered by an earlier fuel pump recall with the same consequence, as prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue across the broader Toyota and Lexus lineup. On 2008-2011 models, the driver's floor mat can trap the accelerator pedal in the wide-open position, causing the vehicle to accelerate uncontrollably and making it very difficult to stop.

Turning to airbag concerns, 2008-2019 models have a seat belt tension sensor wire harness that can break over time and deactivate the front passenger airbag, knee airbag, and seat-mounted side airbag, leaving those positions without supplemental protection in a crash. On 2008-2013 models, some vehicles were built with an incorrect driver or front passenger airbag that may not deploy as intended in a crash.
