The 2025 Lexus TX has 4 recalls, the most serious being two related rearview camera failures where the image can freeze, go blank, or fail to appear at all when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.

Both camera issues reduce what the driver can see directly behind the vehicle while backing up, leaving blind spots that a working camera would otherwise cover. One affects vehicles equipped with the Panoramic View Monitor system, where a software error can cause the camera feed to freeze or go black mid-use. The other involves the rearview camera simply not loading when reverse is selected. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue, which is why separate campaigns exist addressing the same underlying problem.

A third recall covers the instrument panel display, which can fail to show critical information such as speed, warnings, or other gauges while driving. A driver missing that data may not notice a developing mechanical problem or a speed-related hazard in time to react.

The fourth recall is a labeling issue on TX500h Hybrid and TX350 trims: the maximum cargo and passenger weight printed on the vehicle's placard may be incorrect. An owner relying on that number could unknowingly load the vehicle beyond its safe capacity, which adds stress to brakes, tires, and suspension and raises the risk of losing control.
