The 2019 McLaren 600LT has 3 recalls, the most serious being a coolant leak at the radiator hose or engine coolant pipe that can drip onto hot engine components and start an engine fire.
The coolant issue stems from two connection points that may not seal properly: one where the temperature sensor housing meets the hose from the outboard radiator, and another where the same type of housing meets the coolant pipe closer to the engine. Either joint can fail while driving and allow coolant to escape into the engine bay where ignition sources are present. On the braking side, a brake caliper banjo bolt on one corner of the car may be missing the internal holes that allow brake fluid to flow through it. Without that fluid path, the brake at that corner stops working, causing the car to pull hard to one side under braking and raising the risk of losing control.
