The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 has 4 recalls, the most serious being a driver's airbag that can deploy without warning, raising the risk of injury and a crash.
Two recalls involve the front roof panel, the section between the windshield and the panoramic sunroof. The adhesive bonding that holds this panel can deteriorate or, in cases where a prior repair was performed, may not have been bonded correctly the second time around. Either way, the panel can detach from the vehicle and become a hazard for other drivers on the road. There is also a software issue affecting the emergency call system, where the system's internal clock can fall out of sync with the actual date and time, causing it to report an inaccurate vehicle location to emergency responders if a call is triggered.
