The 2016 Nissan Titan has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the rear seatbelt assembly on Crew Cab models, which may not restrain an occupant's head properly in a crash, allowing it to strike the D-ring bolt trim cap and raise the risk of head injury.
On Titan XD Diesel models, an assembly issue can leave the fuel tank breather tube disconnected and a temporary cap still in place, causing the fuel gauge to read incorrectly. A driver may believe the tank has more fuel than it does and run out unexpectedly without any warning. The third recall is a labeling issue: certain vehicles equipped with factory-installed accessories have a reduced load carrying capacity, but were not fitted with a label reflecting that lower limit, meaning the vehicle could be loaded beyond what its suspension and tires can safely handle.
