The 2020 Nissan Titan has 8 recalls, the most serious involving a wiring harness that can short circuit, causing the engine to stall without warning or sparking a fire in the engine bay.
The parking transmission is the subject of multiple recalls: the parking pawl can fail to engage when the shifter is moved to park, allowing the truck to roll away if the parking brake is not set. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve this issue, which is why it appears across several filings. On the tire side, certain trucks fitted with Continental tires may have been over-cured during production, which can cause the sidewall to crack and lose air suddenly or shed tread while driving. There is also a lighting concern: the front turn signal bulbs on some trucks can crack and stop illuminating, leaving other drivers and pedestrians without a signal that the truck is turning.
