The 2019 Nissan Titan has 4 recalls, the most serious being a damaged alternator wiring harness that can cause an electrical short, leading to an engine stall or a fire.
The tire recall covers Titans equipped with Continental tires, where one or more tires may have been cured too long during production. This can cause the sidewall to crack and fail, leading to sudden air loss or the tread and belt separating from the tire while driving. On the visibility side, the backup camera can lose its image entirely, leaving the driver with a blank screen while reversing. Some vehicles with LED headlights also have incorrect aiming marks on the headlight housing, which means the headlights can end up pointed in the wrong direction after a service adjustment, reducing how far down the road the lights reach at night.
