The 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo has 3 recalls, the most serious being a fuel pump flange that can crack and allow gasoline to leak, raising the risk of a fire if the fuel contacts an ignition source.
Two other issues round out the list. On the drivetrain side, the transmission's gear position indicator may not accurately reflect the actual gear selected, meaning the vehicle could be in a driveable gear when the driver believes it is in Park. Stepping out without confirming the transmission and applying the parking brake can result in the vehicle rolling away unexpectedly. There is also a headlight concern: the headlights on certain vehicles may be aimed incorrectly, either leaving the road ahead underlit or throwing glare into the eyes of oncoming drivers, both of which reduce visibility and raise crash risk.
