The 2020 Porsche Cayenne has 4 recalls, the most serious involving the front passenger airbag, which may fail to deploy in a crash on certain Coupe and GTS variants.
On the braking side, a separate recall addresses worn brake pads that may not trigger a warning to the driver, leaving the vehicle with reduced stopping power without any alert. The transmission has a potential leak point where a fluid line can seep automatic transmission fluid onto the road, making the surface slippery for following vehicles. There is also a visibility concern: the rearview camera may fail to show an image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing the driver's view of what is behind the car.
