The 2020 Porsche Cayenne has 4 recalls, the most serious involving the front passenger airbag sensor on Coupe and GTS Coupe trims, where a missing seat heating element can prevent the airbag from deploying in a crash.
The visibility cluster includes a rearview camera that can fail to display an image when reversing, leaving the driver without a view of what is directly behind the vehicle. On the drivetrain side, a transmission oil pipe can develop a leak and drip automatic transmission fluid onto the road surface, creating a slipping hazard for following traffic. There is also a braking concern: the brake pad wear indicator can fail to alert the driver when pads are worn down, meaning the brakes may not stop the vehicle as expected without the driver realizing there is a problem.
