The 2010 RAM 1500 has two recalls, both rated at the same severity level: one allows the transmission to shift out of park without the brake pedal depressed or a key in the ignition, creating a rollaway risk.
The other recall applies only to trucks registered in certain northeastern and midwestern states, where road salt and winter conditions can corrode the fuel tank mounting hardware. If the straps or brackets holding the tank weaken enough, the tank can drop and drag on the ground, or break free in a crash, either of which can cause a fuel leak.
