The 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the braking system, where a malfunction can reduce stopping power, disable anti-lock brakes, and cause loss of vehicle stability control.
Two of the three recalls address overlapping brake system concerns: the integrated brake control module can fail in a way that reduces power assist, making the pedal harder to push and lengthening stopping distances, while anti-lock braking and stability control may stop functioning, reducing the driver's ability to maintain control during hard braking or a skid. On the electrical side, the ground connection cable for the front electric motor may have adhesive residue that increases resistance at the chassis connection point, which can raise the risk of electric shock during service work and increase the chance of a fire.
