The 2025 Tesla Model Y has 3 recalls, the most serious being a tire pressure monitoring system that may stop warning the driver of low tire pressure after the vehicle is parked and restarted, and a circuit board fault that can cause the rearview camera to go dark while backing up.
Both of those issues raise crash risk in different ways: underinflated tires that go undetected can affect handling and increase blowout risk, while a blank rearview camera screen leaves the driver without visibility behind the vehicle. The third recall involves a missing certification label on some 2025-2026 Model Y vehicles. That label carries weight and loading information, and without it a driver may unknowingly load the vehicle beyond its rated capacity, which can affect braking distance and vehicle stability.
