Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110 - Tire Selection and Rims. The French-language wording displayed on the tire placard does not fully comply with the revised requirements of the Standard, which came into force on September 1, 2009. As the variation in the French text is minor, and all required safety information is displayed on the placard, no corrective recall action is required. This technical non-compliance is deemed to be non-safety related.
Certain vehicles may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. The tire certification label may bear incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) information. The label incorrectly states "520 kg" (1146 lbs) instead of the correct "450 kg" (992 lbs). If an owner were to rely on the incorrect values, it could lead to premature tire failure and vehicle overloading, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will apply a revised certification label with the correct values.

On certain vehicles, the certification label does not meet the requirements of CMVSS 120. The Gross Axle Weight Ratings (GAWR) on the label exceeds the load carrying capacity of the minimum size tire listed on the label.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Owners will be provided with vehicle certification label overlays containing corrected information relative to vehicle GAWR and tire size.

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 120. The tire pressure label, located on the driver's side B-pillar, does not indicate the vehicle GVWR and GAWR or the recommended wheel rim size. The tire size, rim size and inflation pressure information was also not given on the compliance certification label. However, the combination of the tire information label and the certification label adjacent to each other on the driver side B-pillar provides the GAWR, GVWR, tire size and inflation pressure information.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Since this does not pose any safety risk, no corrective action is required.
On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label lists an incorrect vehicle cargo carrying capacity. This could lead to overloading of the vehicle and cause poor handling or a tire failure.
Note: This recall only affects certain Bentayga Speed models.
Safety Risk
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Bentley will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the tire and loading information label.

Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 110 - Tire Information Label. Specifically, the relationship between tire size and maximum tire pressure is not present on the label. Tire pressure that is either too low or too high can cause premature wear and/or tire damage, and could lead to unfavourable driving conditions.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Mini Canada will mail updated tire information labels to owners of affected vehicles.
On certain vehicles equipped with Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires, the maximum tire pressure listed on the sidewall of the tire is lower than the maximum tire pressure specified on the tire loading and information label and on the gas tank cap. The placard lists a maximum pressure of 320 kPa (47 psi) instead of 300 kPa (44 psi). Canadian regulations require this information to be consistent on both the labels and tires.
Safety Risk
This error does not affect vehicle safety. Michelin has indicated that the tires can be operated safely up to a maximum pressure of 350 kPa (51 psi).
Remedy
This is not a recall. Mercedes-Benz has corrected the tire loading and information label on all new vehicles.
