On certain Monza 2+2, Skyhawk and Starfire vehicles, the strength of the conventional spare tire hold down "J" bolt may be inadequate in the event of a severe frontal collision. If such a collision occurs, the "J" bolt could straighten and the spare tire and wheel come loose and travel forward into the passenger area of the vehicle, increasing the possibility of occupant injury.
