KTM North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2022-2023 390 Duke and 2022-2024 RC 390 motorcycles. Water may enter the throttle (e-throttle) control unit and cause it to fail, resulting in loss of drive power while riding.
Safety Risk
Loss of drive power while riding increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy
KTM will inspect and replace the e-throttle control, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 30, 2025. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov March 31, 2026. KTM's number for this recall is KTB2606 & HTB2603. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 25V598.

Remedy
KTM and Husqvarna dealers will inspect and replace the e-throttle control, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed October 20, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated late-May 2026. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090. CFMOTO Powersports, Inc. (CFMOTO) is recalling certain 2023 Ibex 800 S and Ibex 800 T motorcycles. The throttle wire may bend excessively and break, resulting in a loss of throttle response and an engine stall.
Safety Risk
An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will reposition the rubber claps, rerouting the throttle wire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 28, 2024. Owners may contact CFMOTO customer service at 1-763-398-2690. CFMOTO's number for this recall is SAF-2024-03.
Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA (Yamaha) is recalling certain 2021 Tracer 9 GT (MTT9GT) motorcycles. The throttle grip may break if used to pull up a motorcycle fallen on its side.
Safety Risk
A broken throttle grip may restrict throttle movement or cause a loss of throttle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Owners should not operate their motorcycle, other than to take it to a dealer, until the remedy is performed. Dealers will replace the grip end and if necessary, the throttle grip assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 17, 2022.
