2002 ACURA TL Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2002 Acura TL has 4 recalls, the most serious being defective front seatbelt buckles that can fail to properly restrain the driver or passenger in a crash. The remaining recalls both involve the driver's side power window on sedans equipped with the auto-up feature. The window control unit can malfunction and cause the window to move on its own without pressing the switch, become stuck, or lose its auto-reverse function, which is the safety mechanism that stops and reverses the glass when it detects an obstruction. When the auto-reverse fails, the window can close on a hand, arm, or other object without stopping.
