The 2017 Audi Q3 has 3 recalls, the most serious being a brake light failure: when the parking brake is applied during emergency braking, the brake lights do not activate, giving drivers behind no warning that the vehicle is stopping.
The remaining two recalls both involve exterior lighting. On vehicles equipped with LED headlights, a failed front turn signal may not trigger any warning indicator on the dashboard, so the driver continues signaling turns or lane changes without knowing the light is out, leaving other road users without a visual cue. Separately, a software issue can disable the side marker lights when the parking lights or headlights are on, making the vehicle harder to see from the side at night.
