The 2025 BMW 750e xDrive has 3 recalls, the most serious being a brake system defect that can reduce power brake assist, extend stopping distances, and cause the anti-lock brakes and stability control to stop working properly.
The brake and stability control issue appears across two separate recalls affecting overlapping systems: one targets the integrated brake control module, and the other addresses the electronic stability control system directly. Together, they mean the vehicle may take longer to stop than expected, and in a skid or emergency maneuver, the systems designed to help the driver maintain control may not respond. There is also a wiring concern: the air conditioning wiring harness runs near the cabin air filter housing, and the harness can be nicked or damaged during a routine filter swap. A damaged harness can short-circuit and start a fire in the vehicle.
