2019 BMW R 1250 Gs Adventure Recalls & Complaints

The 2019 BMW R 1250 GS Adventure has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the gearbox input shaft, which can break under certain riding conditions and lock the rear wheel, raising the risk of a crash.

Both remaining recalls involve the brake system. The front brake caliper can leak fluid while the motorcycle is parked, and over time that fluid loss can reduce braking performance. There is also a labeling issue with the brake fluid reservoir cap, which may not clearly identify the correct fluid type or how to fill it properly, meaning incorrect maintenance could further compromise braking.
