The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer has 4 recalls, the most serious affecting Blazer EV models where the right front lower control arm can fracture and cause a sudden loss of steering control. The Blazer EV is also affected by a parking brake wiring issue, where the rear harness can corrode or sustain damage, causing the parking brake to engage unexpectedly while driving or fail to hold the vehicle while parked, creating a rollaway risk. A prior repair attempt for this issue did not fully resolve the problem for some vehicles, so it is covered by a second recall. Across both Blazer trims, door strikers can fracture and allow a door to swing open while the vehicle is in motion.
