The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro has 3 recalls, the most serious being a 10-speed transmission that can lock up the wheels while driving and a fuel pump that can crack and leak fuel, raising the risk of a fire.
Both of those issues carry equal urgency. On the transmission side, internal damage can cause the wheels to suddenly lock up at speed. On the fuel side, a missing pressure regulator allows the fuel system to over-pressurize, which can crack the pump and allow fuel to escape near potential ignition sources. The third recall involves the driver's airbag: the plastic "Camaro" emblem on the steering wheel airbag cover can break free during deployment and send plastic fragments into the cabin, raising the risk of injury in a crash.
