The 2001 Chrysler Town & Country has two recalls of equal severity, one of which involves a lower front suspension control arm that can separate from the vehicle if a pivot bolt fractures, causing a sudden loss of steering control. The other recall involves the radio: in conditions of extreme heat and humidity, condensation can drip from air conditioning ducts into the base radio and cause a short circuit that sends current to the rear speakers, which can then catch fire.
