2005 Chrysler Town & Country

The 2005 Chrysler Town & Country has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the front passenger seatbelt, which may not hold the occupant properly in a severe frontal crash due to an assembly issue in the retractor.

The wiper system is also affected: the front wiper motor's armature shaft can break and leave the driver with no windshield wiping ability, which can obscure vision and lead to a crash with little warning. There is also a lower-severity airbag sensor recall where the left or right front airbag sensors can crack and let in water, triggering the airbag warning light on the dashboard. The sensors' core safety function is not expected to be compromised by this condition.
