The 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan has 4 recalls, the most serious being a fuel leak risk where a deteriorating fuel pump gasket can allow gasoline to escape near potential ignition sources, raising the risk of a fire.
An underhood wiring issue can cause the engine to stall unexpectedly while driving, which raises crash risk. On the brake side, rear brake caliper pistons may have insufficient coating that allows gas pockets to form inside them, reducing rear braking performance. Two of these recalls apply only to vehicles that have been modified by third-party mobility converters: one affects Vantage-converted vehicles with the fuel pump gasket concern, and another affects vehicles equipped with Rollx QRT-Deluxe or QRT-Max wheelchair restraints, where the securement hardware can fail to hold a wheelchair in place during transit.
