The 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan has 5 recalls, the most serious being a fuel pump gasket that can deteriorate on Vantage-modified vehicles, allowing fuel to leak and raising the risk of fire near any ignition source.
Two recalls address seat striker welds in the second and third row seating. In both cases, the welds securing the seat latches can fail in a crash, allowing seats or seatbelts to shift or detach and leaving passengers without adequate restraint. On the brake side, the rear brake caliper pistons may develop internal gas pockets that reduce braking force, extending stopping distances. There is also a recall affecting vehicles equipped with QRT-series wheelchair restraints installed by Rollx Vans, where the restraint system may not fully secure a wheelchair during transit, allowing it to move and potentially injure occupants.
