The 2015 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta has 4 recalls, the most serious being a Takata passenger airbag inflator that can rupture and send metal fragments into the cabin, with the potential to cause serious injury or death.

The brakes also carry a recall: hydraulic brake function can be lost entirely, removing the driver's ability to slow or stop the car and raising the risk of a crash. Two additional recalls cover the airbag and restraint system more broadly. The airbag control unit can malfunction and cause the airbags and seatbelt pretensioners to either fail to deploy or deploy incorrectly in a crash, reducing the protection they are designed to provide. Separately from the inflator issue, the driver's airbag module on certain vehicles may have been assembled out of alignment, so in a crash the bag deploys rotated from its intended position, which can direct the inflation force away from where it would properly cushion the driver.
