The 1995 Ferrari F355 has 6 recalls, the most serious being multiple fuel system defects where cracked or damaged fuel lines can leak fuel into the engine compartment and start a fire.
Three of those fuel recalls share the same underlying problem: fuel injection line fittings can fracture, allowing fuel to escape near potential ignition sources. A fourth fuel recall involves screw clamps near the fuel supply pipes that, if improperly installed during service, can damage those pipes and cause leaking fluid, smoke, and fire. On the steering side, the left steering rack mounting support can fracture, which can cause a sudden and complete loss of steering control. There is also a seatbelt concern: the driver and passenger seatbelt mechanisms were installed on the wrong sides at the factory, meaning the driver's belt lacks a child seat locking mechanism and the passenger belt has one instead, which can allow a child seat to move excessively in a crash.
