The 2010 Ford E-150 has 4 recalls, the most serious being two separate fire risks tied to aftermarket liquid propane autogas fuel system kits, where leaking propane near an ignition source can result in a fire.
Both propane-related recalls affect vehicles fitted with Roush Clean Tech conversion kits: one involves fuel lines and fittings in the kit that can leak gas, and the other involves improperly seated injector retention clips in the fuel rails that can also allow propane to escape. The remaining two recalls affect vehicles equipped with Ricon wheelchair lifts. In one, cracked side plates on the lift platform can cause the platform to separate and come to rest against the vehicle's lift door. In the other, bearings that shift out of position allow the stowed platform to move excessively, which can cause the platform mounting to fail.
