2020 FORD F-59 Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2020 Ford F-59 has two recalls, both serious: one where a loose steering shaft bolt can cause the shaft to separate from the steering gear box and result in total loss of steering control, and one where insufficient rear axle lubricant can damage wheel bearings and cause the rear axle or driveshaft to fail. On the drivetrain side, if the axle or driveshaft fails, the vehicle can lose drive power and the parking brake may stop working, with the transmission also potentially unable to shift into Park, leaving the vehicle unable to be secured.
