The 2022 GMC Acadia has 5 recalls, the most serious being a fuel tank rollover valve that can fail to seal in a rollover crash, allowing fuel to leak and raising the risk of fire. This recall only affects AWD models.
Two recalls address the same left-rear suspension toe link, which may not have been properly tightened and can work loose or separate entirely. When that happens, the rear wheel loses its alignment and the vehicle can become unstable or difficult to control. There is also an airbag concern: on certain vehicles, the airbag control module may have been left in a manufacturing mode and never fully activated before the vehicle left the assembly plant, meaning the airbags will not deploy in a crash.
