NHTSA 5-Star Safety Rating
The 2025 GMC Yukon has 3 recalls, the most serious involving wheel hub bolts on models with 24-inch wheels that can loosen or break while driving, causing loss of vehicle control, and a transfer case defect on 4WD and AWD models where front or rear wheels can lock up unexpectedly, also raising the risk of a crash.
A third recall affects Yukon vehicles that have been converted to wheelchair-accessible use and equipped with QRT-Deluxe or QRT-Max wheelchair restraint systems. The restraint anchors can fail to hold the wheelchair securely, allowing it to shift or roll during transit and raising the risk of injury to the occupant.
