2023 Harley-Davidson Flhcs Complaints

The 2023 Harley-Davidson FLHCS has 2 recalls, both involving the rear shock absorber adjuster contacting and damaging the rear tire, which can cause a sudden loss of tire pressure and loss of vehicle control.

In both cases, a fastener or mounting tab on the rear shock pre-load adjuster can break, allowing the adjuster to shift into contact with the rear tire. The resulting tire damage can cause rapid pressure loss, reducing the rider's ability to control the motorcycle.
