The 2007 Hyundai Entourage has 7 recalls, the most serious being a fire risk from moisture entering the anti-lock brake module and causing an electrical short, which can ignite an engine compartment fire even while the vehicle is parked.
Two separate suspension recalls address the front lower control arms, which can corrode from road salt exposure and fracture, causing sudden loss of steering control. The hood latch also has a corrosion issue: the secondary latch can bind and stay in the unlatched position when the hood is closed, so if the primary latch releases while driving, the hood can fly open and block the driver's view. On the electrical side, this recall only affects vehicles with adjustable brake pedals: the stop lamp switch wiring harness can shift out of position and rub against the steering column joint, wearing through the insulation and potentially cutting brake lights, stalling the engine, or preventing the vehicle from starting.
