2021 HYUNDAI NEXO Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2021 Hyundai Nexo has two recalls, both centered on hydrogen gas leaks that can lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving. In one case, the hydrogen gas detection sensors may fail to catch a leak in the fuel delivery system, meaning a leak could go unnoticed. In the other, a pressure relief device on the hydrogen tank can break and release hydrogen gas directly. Both situations raise the risk of fire.
