The 2015 Jaguar F-Type has 5 recalls, the most serious being two related fire risks: a loose battery positive cable that can short and ignite, and engine accessory belt fasteners that can loosen and allow the alternator cable to arc against nearby components.
On the occupant safety side, a wiring error in the front passenger seat's occupant classification system can cause the passenger airbag to deploy even when a child or child seat is in that seat. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve this issue, and a subsequent recall addresses the same wiring problem with corrected procedures. There is also a concern with the deployable rear spoiler: a speed-limiting software feature that is meant to prevent high-speed driving when the spoiler has a fault may not work as intended, allowing the car to be driven at speeds where the missing spoiler deployment can affect handling stability.
