The 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has 3 recalls, the most serious involving third-row seat belt buckles that occupants may not be able to reach or fasten, leaving rear passengers unrestrained in a crash. A second safety concern involves the upper B-pillar interior trim, which may not be fully seated against the body structure and can block the side curtain airbag from deploying correctly, reducing protection for occupants during a side impact or rollover. There is also an exterior trim issue: door trim on the driver and passenger sides can detach while driving and fall onto the road, creating a hazard for other vehicles.
