The 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has 6 recalls, the most serious involving third-row seat belts that may be difficult to reach or fasten, and a clockspring defect that can prevent the driver's airbag from deploying in a crash.
Two recalls affect rear visibility. A software fault in the rearview camera module can cause the backup camera image to fail to appear entirely, and a separate issue with the park assist module software can also prevent the rearview image from displaying when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. Both leave the driver with no camera view while backing up, raising the risk of a collision.
On the exterior, door trim on the driver and passenger doors may not be properly secured and can detach while driving, and quarter window trim on the same doors faces a similar problem. In both cases, pieces that fall off become road hazards for other vehicles following behind.
