The 2016 Lamborghini Aventador has 3 recalls, the most serious being a fire risk on certain vehicles where fuel from a full tank can contact the hot exhaust system. Two additional concerns affect this model. On SV Coupe and SV Roadster trims, the bolts that center the brake discs to the wheel hub can loosen over time, potentially allowing a wheel to detach while driving. The engine can also stall unexpectedly when the accelerator is released below 2,000 rpm while the transmission is automatically downshifting, which can leave the driver without power in situations where they need it.
