The fuel system concerns involve both quick-connect fittings throughout the system and a fuel delivery pipe in the engine compartment, either of which can drip fuel where a spark or hot surface could ignite it. On the structural side, certain vehicles may have incomplete welds on the front subframe that can crack and break, reducing the subframe's ability to hold the front suspension in place and making the vehicle harder to control, particularly during cornering or sudden maneuvers.
