2016 MERCEDES-BENZ C CLASS Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz C Class has two recalls, the more serious being a panoramic sunroof rear glass panel that may not be properly bonded and can separate from the vehicle at speed, becoming a road hazard for other drivers. The second recall involves a software fault in the electric power steering control unit that can temporarily shut down steering assist while driving. The vehicle does not lose steering entirely, but it reverts to manual steering effort, which can make the wheel significantly harder to turn, particularly at low speeds or in tight maneuvers.
