The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB Class has 3 recalls, the most serious involving a damaged electronic stability control unit that can allow water to enter, short circuit, and potentially start a fire while also disabling stability control and anti-lock brakes.

The airbag recall covers the driver's side curtain airbag, which may not have been installed correctly and can fail to deploy properly in a crash, reducing protection for the driver. There is also a lighting issue where a rear axle level sensor linkage may be incorrectly installed, causing the automatic headlamp leveling system to point the beams too high or too low and creating glare for oncoming drivers.
