This fuel recall applies only to vehicles registered in certain northeastern and midwestern states. On the safety equipment side, certain vehicles built during a specific production window have seat-mounted side airbags whose retainer brackets may not be properly welded, which can cause the airbags to fail to deploy correctly in a side impact crash. Canadian regulations require this information to be listed on the label in both English and French.
