1992 MITSUBISHI EXPO Recalls — Canada & USA

The 1992 Mitsubishi Expo has two recalls, the more serious affecting all-wheel drive models where the transfer case can lock up due to insufficient lubrication, causing sudden loss of vehicle control and raising the risk of a crash. The second recall involves the door latch switch, where excess lubrication can deform a rubber cover and cause the switch to malfunction. On affected vehicles, closing the door may not retract the shoulder belt anchor from the A-pillar into its proper position, leaving the occupant without adequate belt restraint in a crash.
