The 2013 Porsche Cayenne has 4 recalls, the most serious involving a brake pedal that can physically dislodge while driving, leaving the driver unable to apply the brakes.
A small retaining clip on the brake pedal pivot pin may be missing, allowing the pin to shift and the pedal to come loose. Separately, the fuel gauge on certain vehicles reads higher than the actual fuel level, which can cause the engine to stall unexpectedly when the tank runs dry. Recalls 2 and 3 describe the same fuel gauge issue filed across different campaigns, so this is one underlying problem. There is also a headlight adjustment recall shared across a wide range of Porsche models: the headlights may point too low to properly light the road ahead, or too high, creating glare for oncoming drivers.
