The 2017 Porsche Panamera has 6 recalls, the most serious being a climate control coolant pump that can allow moisture inside, causing a short circuit that may lead to overheating wiring and a vehicle fire.
On the steering side, the electric power steering assist can cut out intermittently, making the wheel harder to turn and raising the risk of a crash. Three recalls address the same brake wear warning issue: when the instrument cluster is set to Map or Night Vision mode, the red brake pad warning light can fail to illuminate when pads are worn down, leaving the driver unaware that stopping distances have increased. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve this issue, which is why multiple filings exist for the same problem.
