The 1975 Triumph TR7 has 3 recalls, the most serious being a broken connection between the accelerator pedal and throttle cable that removes all control over engine speed.
The remaining two recalls both involve water intrusion into electrical components. The windshield wiper motor can fail either because its linkage is loose or because water gets inside the motor, leaving the driver without wipers in rain. Water can also enter the pop-up headlight lift motor, its limit switch, or the surrounding wiring, causing the motor to fail and potentially leaving the headlights in a position where they cannot illuminate the road.
